Under the Distinguished Patronage of Her Excellency Dame Calliopa Pearlette Louisy, the Cultural Development Foundation and the Saint Lucia School of Music bring the inaugural celebration of The Cultural Icon Series – The Cadet Concert, hosted within the 2015 Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival.
Alibi will perform at The Cadet Concert on Sunday 3rd May from 7:30 p.m. in the newly refurbished National Cultural Centre. Tickets are $75 and available from The Cell, Budget Travel, Splendour Gifts, the CDF and Saint Lucia School of Music.
The individual members of the quartet Alibi, have performed on stage with a diverse cadre of artistes including, Patti Labelle, James Ingram, Machel Montano, Mighty Sparrow and Andy Narrell.
In between their collective and individual pursuits the members: Richard Payne (Keyboards), Francis John (Bass), Teddyson John (Drums) and Zack Popo (Guitar) have set up a Jazz fusion format where they perform the music of some of their great influences while having some fun in the process.
Alibi borrows elements from the literal definition of the word – an excuse to keep their creative juices flowing.
