Chanté Kwéyòl, as part of Creole Heritage Month has organized two (2) major activities.
“Apwan Ekwi Kwéyòl” (Kwéyòl Writing Workshop) will be held on Saturday October 10, 2020 from 10:00am – 12:30pm at the Blue Coral Mall Conference Room, Castries. Registration can be done via telephone at (758) 722-3683, or via email at chanteenkweyol@gmail.com.
Registration is now open for the National Kwéyòl Song Competition, scheduled for Saturday October 24th, 2020, 8:00pm at the National Cultural Centre. All genres of Music are welcome and encouraged to attend. All songs must be done in Kwéyòl. Deadline for registration is Wednesday September 30, 2020.
