Highlights from our 2019 Calendar
Francis De Lima was a graphic artist, video film producer, sound engineer, performing artistes, songwriter and music producer. He was also an avid and dedicated basketball player. He was a founding member of the Kronic Heights Crew in 2000.
His music label, Heights Music, wrote, produced, mixed and mastered music for artistes like Shayne Ross, Cherry L, Trish, Level 4, Christopher Hunte and Linda “Chocolate” Berthier. His production work also extended to commercial interests where he penned jingles and designed campaigns for numerous companies including M&C and Du Boulay’s Bottling Company.
In 2013, during the National Arts Festival, he was recognized by the Cultural Development Foundation as a featured composer for his work and his influence and impact on Saint Lucian Music. Leebo was a longstanding member of the Eastern Caribbean Copyright Organization (ECCO) as a Board Member, where he represented artistes’ interests. Weeks before his death in March 2018, Leebo was still exploring his passion producing music for Saint Lucian and international artistes.
