Highlights from our 2019 Calendar

Saint Lucian Calypsonian Ignatius “Invader” Tisin, SLMM is a long standing contributor to the calypso and soca artform in Saint Lucia.  Four-time Calypso Monarch and seven-time Road March Champion, he was one of the first calypsonians to be inducted into the Saint Lucia Calypso Hall of Fame.  He is a popular staple during the local Carnival Season and has travelled the world promoting and performing his music at special festivals and celebrations organized by Saint Lucians in the diaspora.

His accomplishments include:
➡️ Saint Lucia Medal of Merit (SLMM) for his meritorious service towards the development of the performing arts in Saint Lucia (2001)
➡️ Trustees Award from the US-based International Soca Awards Organization (2008)
➡️ Spirit of the Arts Award for his 25-year contribution towards the development of the art of Soca and Calypso internationally by TropicalFete.com (2009)
