On Monday 15th February, 2016, tele-communications Company, LIME and the Cultural Development Foundation (CDF), officially sealed a partnership arrangement with the signing of a contract, committing themselves one with the other.
LIME CEO Southern cluster, Geraldine Pitt, pledged the company’s support and announced that a total of one hundred and twenty thousand dollars (EC $120,000.00) would be dedicated to the cultural organisation in its quest to further the cause of cultural preservation and artistic development.
As part of the arrangement, LIME is offering telecommunication services, support for youth-oriented training as well as assistance with the promotion of CDF’s events and activities, all key areas in enhancing the overall work of the CDF.
Executive Director of the Cultural Development Foundation, Melchoir Henry, expressed his elation with the arrangement, promising an exciting programme of activities in line with CDF’s new strategic focus in training and development. This, he indicated is expected to be unveiled during the launch of the National Arts Festival, later this month.
The signing took place in the Cultural Development Foundation Conference Room on Barnard Hill.
