The UBUNTU Ras Tafari Cultural Center and its’ Justice and Healing, Judgment and Heaping Nyahbinghi Initiative (JAH JAH N I), seeks restorative social justice and healing for the Caribbean family, and is establishing a holistic approach, that engages all sectors of the St. Lucian family for healing and reconciliation.
The Ubuntu Rastafari Cultural Center is focused on initiatives, programs and projects that promote youth involvement in justice and communal healing. These will cover a broad swath of events targeted at education, health, public articulation of ideas, discussions, and oral presentation. Complementing the initiatives are UBUNTU’s Counseling Office, African/Afro-Caribbean Bookstore, and the Foods of 7 Ital Restaurant. The center is located at 37 Jeremie St, Castries (across from the Jannou Credit Union). For further information on our center and projects, contact us at (758)287-0637 and jahjahni21@gmail.com.
