Gandolph served as Director of Carnival under the National Carnival Development Committee (NCDC). He played an integral role in the facilitation of the French bands (Guadeloupe & Martinique) to Saint Lucia Carnival and the structuring of Jou ouvè.
As Senior Cultural Development Officer in the Special Events Unit of the Cultural Development Foundation (CDF), he was instrumental in the formation of School La Magwit groups in communities, particularly on the West coast of Saint Lucia. Gandolph worked towards keeping these groups flourishing by visiting with them before, on the day of the celebration (October 17th) and after the festivities.
