Over twenty (20) schools from the northern districts in Saint Lucia participated in this year’s Fèt La Magéwit celebrations today. The Schools’ Church Service took place the Saint Joseph the Worker Church in Gros Islet.
The service was attended by Saint Lucia’s Governor General, His Excellency Sir Neveille Cenac, Acting Prime Minister, Honourable Lenard Montoute, Minister for Culture, Senator, the Honourable Fortuna Belrose as well as Mr. Paul Edgar, Chairperson of the Babonneau Constituency Council, among other specially invited guests.
